Cleaner / Caretaker


 

The successful candidates will be key members of the staff team. The hours available, which can be split between 2 people, are generally late afternoons into evenings, also a Friday morning and Sunday. There is also the opportunity to increase hours to assist with holidays, sickness and busy periods.

In addition to general cleaning duties, such as cleaning, mopping, hoovering, buffing, it is essential that various rooms are set for Centre users. This involves moving and setting tables and chairs for events, meetings, parties and social gatherings.

Liaison with other Centre staff is required to ensure that all hygiene and safety measures are followed, particularly in the present climate where cleanliness of the Centre is paramount. Due to the nature of the work carried out in the Centre, all staff undertake vetting procedures.

It will be expected that the successful candidates will occasionally open or close the Centre, ensuring that all entrances and exits are secure and alarm systems are set.

This is a very rewarding position which would suit a cheerful and helpful person, engaging with the public to ensure their facilities are as requested.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 28 per week

Salary: £11.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
