Brief job description:

During your apprenticeship you will learn practical skills and theoretical knowledge to gain a real understanding of the working reality of providing valuable data driven insights to a large multinational company. You will specialise in surfacing of customer insights using a cloud-based CRM tool called Salesforce.

Job Description:

Based within the IAG Cargo Customer Solutions team you will configure and customise our Salesforce instance to support our commercial business goals and drive optimal adoption and exploitation of the tool across IAG Cargo.

This is a fantastic role for you to expand to your knowledge and use of data with opportunities to work across all areas of the business from Commercial to Customer Service.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

  • Learn and develop your use of data.
  • Create dashboards to deliver insight into Commercial data.
  • Work with IAGC Salesforce team to configure and customise Salesforce.com to satisfy business goals and appeal to users.
  • Interact with and present to all levels of the organisation.
  • Supporting to ensure data quality.

Qualifications:

  • 5 GCSEs 9-5 or equivalent, including English and Maths or 3 A-Level grades A-C or equivalent.

Skills Required:

  • Good communication and influencing skills with the ability to communicate complex.
  • messages in simple terms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and to take responsibility.
  • Organised and disciplined – able to manage delivery of multiple objectives.

Experience

  • Must be confident to be able to present data and insights to the team.
  • An understanding of sales / business processes in organisations.
  • Experience with an Airline / Logistics environment would be an advantage.

Future prospects:

Our preference is that the candidate will become a subject matter expert in our CRM team in IAG Cargo. CRM’s are used to capture customer interactions and IAG Cargo has their CRM at the heart of their global business and using your skills you will work on projects to integrate the delivery of chatbots, automated solutions and Artificial Intelligence across our global business. Support will be given to develop your knowledge and skill set with accreditation in the CRM. Candidate will be working within the business management team and as a key member you will have excellent development opportunities to deliver insights to our Commercial and Operational leadership teams.

Training to be provided:

BPP apprenticeship training programmes are delivered virtually by our fully qualified and industry experienced training team. Using their expert knowledge, we’ve purposefully built our programmes around the real-world use of modern technology, so that the skills we create can be directly applied in the workplace.

Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.

The Apprenticeship in Business Analysis is formed of four key modules. They are as follows:

  • Foundation in Business Analysis
  • Business Analysis Practice
  • Requirements Engineering
  • Modelling Business Processes

These course areas, form the cornerstone of key skills and knowledge that a business analyst possesses, positioning your employees perfectly to be able to identify and drive value added change in your organisation.
